Plentong Ride 281110

All hails to Plentong Jamboree’s organizer. To me this is by far one of the best Jamboree which I have ever attended in Malaysia. It was very well organized and the goodies bag was really full of goodies.

Four points which I really wanted to point out is that,
1)      they have the year 2011 calendar as souvenir which is very useful for all of us for the coming year;
2)      directional arrow signs could be bigger in A3 formats for more visibility for riders;
3)      the ride was 60km, very long distance so well worth our time and money for travelling all the way there;
4)      ride consist of so many different sceneries, ie. Tarmac, Plantation, Sandy Roads, Muddy hills, steep bushes climb, Sandy Climb, Rock Formation, Ex Tin Mining Pond, Grass land Climb etc.

We were also impressed by the amount of hotels there near the starting point and ample of places to go for local food as well. We had such a blastful ride.

Since it’s in Plentong, so close to Singapore, we’d expected to meet many Singaporeans, we met up with our Sabah Adventure Challenge friends there again. Upon reaching some sections, we met up with some foreign workers villages; they all came out to give us some big cheers.

To me, the most exciting part for this ride is that the trails design to have so many fast and short super wavy down hills, I felt like it’s a “Roller-Coaster” ride. A really fantastic job well done superbly excuted by the organizer. We are so looking forward for more to come for next year.
